Just how do the four Gospels compare chronologically? Ray Taylor has done a excellent job in putting the four gospels in one story. Please understand that the book is based on the King James Version, not on other translations. It is very useful in your study library when reading the separate accounts and putting them in context with the other accounts. He includes his own translation from the Textus Receptus to clarify difficult passages.The Perfect Life by John MacArthur is another excellent reference, written using the New American Standard Translation. The Perfect Live includes notes from the MacArthur Study Bible.

The Reconciliation of the Four Gospels is an excellent and very useful study book because it brings the life of Jesus into a chronological order with integrated text of the four Gospels. In 170 AD Tatian produced the first similar work called DIATESSARON. Only translations into Armenian and Arab are preserved to today. After that until this excellent, and most certain, much more accurate work, of Ken Taylor, no other text in any other language was produced. Several parallel accounts in the gospels have complementary information, and in these cases, only the integrated gospels bring the complete story together, and that makes it an interesting reading. I used Kens work to produce an adapted version in Portuguese language, now in the third edition, titled "A VIDA DE JESUS NUNCA ANTES CONTADA ASSIM" and the German version is in its proof reading for publication. It is interesting for people outside the churches, it is interesting for ordinary church goers, it is a precious source for theologians and preachers. Most people read it more then only once!
Nothing new in this book! Found it to be much like others of its ilk. Many others have done a better job.
Helps to see the parallels in the four gospels. I am reading a lot of religious materials including pre-bibical stuff such trying to get a better picture of what the bible picked up from other religious movements of the time. This is helpful in that regard.
This compilation of the gospels is helpful because one sees at a glance which gospel records which story and what part/s of it. When I activate the audio reader, all the references sorta interferes with meaning, so one needs to keep their eyes on the script.
One of the best reads in a long while, brought some questions of mine to light. The travels and messages of Christ in chronological order seemed more "in place". I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I have used this in my Sunday School teaching.
The combination of texts directly from the King James Version makes it a practical way to read all the events and messages without having to flip back and forth from Gospel to Gospel. I had encountered this work under the name "Jesus from 7 Sources" before, and had already used it. The format has made it even more practical. I will recommend it to all my students.
Kenneth actually sent me the text before it came to . He didn't know me and I was only asking a question about a previous version and offered it without hesitation! This have been one of the best "harmony of the gospels" I've ever had and read it over and over!
