This short story is one filled with love but also deals with domestic violence. It's emotionally charged and still uplifting as our lovable hero rescues his love. I'll not give away the heroine as the author did a fine job of introducing her. My only frustration was the description of her versus the book cover. I wish authors would be more diligent in selecting a cover matching the description in the book. Blonde vs. brunette ...really!For that reason, as well as the price for the book given the brevity of this tale I deducted a star. This is a sweet and easy read, the outcome predictable, but still a lovely read.

Loved this book and the last one can not wait till Sawyer and Dani love story I think it will be exciting to reed about Sawyers past
Read this after finishing (The Callahans Book 1). I loved them both. My only complaint is I couldn't find a Book 3. I want more. Did Ethan or Sawyer ever find their true loves and marry? And How did Sawyer really make all his money?
Please keep the story going.
